Trinity Skorge - Gears 5

Character Rigging work I did on Trinity Skorge for the multiplayer modes of Gears of War 5 - Operation 8 at The Coalition.

This character is apparently very hard to get for players as they will need to be in the top 100 to get him.
The tentacles following the head, colliding with the armor, and the leg cloth dynamic were particularly hard to manage performance wise (similar to Crimson Skorge).
The character work is split between Maya for overall setup and Unreal for post-physics animations / dynamics for an in-game target performance of 60 fps.
This result is only possible thanks to the work of incredibly talented team of technicians and artists at The Coalition's studio!

Gears 5 is a 2019 third-person shooter video game developed by The Coalition and published by Xbox Game Studios for Xbox One, Microsoft Windows and Xbox Series X/S. It is the sixth installment of the Gears of War series and the sequel to Gears of War 4. The ultimate edition was released on September 6, 2019, while the standard edition of the game was released worldwide on September 10.
